AFP – Madonna is staying faithful to Riccardo Tisci, designer for Givenchy, for her stage costumes. The Italian designer has designed her new wardrobe, which she will christen this week in London, for the singer’s worldwide “Sweet and Sticky Tour”.

Inspired by the spring-summer 2009 Haute Couture collection, the outfit consists of a jacket and bolero hat in satin and black silk, embroidered jet-black tulle fringes, pleated organza, filet-lace and disks of cellophane. The high, laced boots and leather fingerless gloves are also Givenchy branded.
The fashion house supplied two stage costumes to the “Queen of Pop” last summer, which included the black satin tailcoat that she wore to kick off her tour.
