Worn&Wound's Wind-Up watch fair heads to NYC's Chelsea Market

Published
Oct 6, 2016

Worn&Wound, the leading resource for well-crafted watches and timepieces, announced on Monday its second annual Wind-Up watch fair at Chelsea Market in New York City. The event will be held on October 21, 2016.

Wind-Up, the annual three-day watch event from Worn&Wound

Wind-Up is a three-day watch culture event that is open to the public and features curated brands and accessories. The event heads back to New York City for its second year and will feature brands such as 10:25 Vintage, a New York City-based brand that offers affordable vintage watches; Pennsylvania-based, military-inspired MK II; and Mühle Glashütte, the family owned and operated German watch company from Glashütte.

In 2015, 3,000 guests attended Worn&Would and this year the event expects more seasoned fans and first-time buyers.

“We are very proud of the versatile roster of independent watchmakers participating in worn&wound’s Wind Up fair this year”, says Zach Weiss, co founder of worn&wound. “From Foto Nouveau’s combination of elements of traditional cameras with modern timepieces, to Farer’s mid century spin on the business casual watch, to Mühle Glashütte’s purpose driven tool watches used by the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service, everyone is sure to find something they love”.

Weiss co-founded Worn&Wound with Blake Malin and James Helms in 2011. The watch resource aims to inform watch enthusiasts and novices alike. In 2012, Worn&Wound launched its shop that offers in-house designed, American-made watch straps and cases. Wind-Up is Worn&Wound’s watch brand showcase that features an array of established Swiss, German and American brands.
