Published

Fabiola Sharratt is leaving her role as group operations director at British e-commerce company The Hut Group, Europe’s fastest growing health and beauty online retailer.

She joined the group, owner of brands including Lookfantastic, Glossybox, Illamasqua and Espa, in 2009, and was instrumental in developing its logistics, distribution and warehouse capability particularly in the UK, the US Australia and Europe.

She has been also credited with designing the Hut Group’s employee engagement strategy, helping to improve communications and performance within the company.

The Hut Group acquired a string of premium beauty brands last year to boost the category with a view of becoming the world’s largest online retailer of health and beauty products. In 2016, the company achieved a 50% increase in sales to a record £501 million, while EBITDA jumped by 67% to £50 million. A round of funding valued the group at £2.5 billion in august 2017.

Fabiola Sharratt is leaving the UK online retailer to join Whistl, a delivery management company in the UK, where she will take up the role of operations director on 3 April.

It remains unclear who will replace Sharratt at The Hut Group.
