Spring 2015 makeup: Laura Mercier's subtle watercolor palette

Watercolour Clouds is the cosmetics brand's new spring makeup collection, characterized by discreet shades and delicate textures.

"Find your zen": this is Laura Mercier's invitation to makeup enthusiasts ahead of the spring 2015 season. Titled Watercolour Clouds, the brand's new makeup line is all about quiet, relaxed glamour, a mood conveyed in slightly subdued shades of green, mauve, yellow and navy.

The gaze is in the spotlight thanks to sateen-finish eyeshadows, while the mouth is merely dabbed with discreet lipstick colors and the cheeks flushed with a subtle wash of color.

A highlight of the new line is the limited edition Watercolour Mist Eye & Cheek Palette, which includes six eyeshadows (Mist, Fog, Storm, Purple Rain...) and two blushes ($58/€57).

Various shades of Crème Eye Liner ($24/€25) and Crème Smooth Lip Colour ($27/€29) round out the collection, along with the new Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour in Nude Rose ($28/€29) and the Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara ($25/€27).
