Russian model Valery Kaufman : 'I like a glamorous makeup look for night'

Regularly seen starring in catwalk shows for the biggest names in fashion (Balmain, Valentino, Chanel, Nina Ricci, Mugler), the Russian model has been signed up as the face of the La Perla autumn/winter 2016-2017 campaign. Before treading the runway with other star models in September's ready-to-wear shows, Valery Kaufman is gearing up for this year's summer vacation. Relaxnews caught up with the model to find out what fashion and beauty essentials will be slipping into her suitcase this summer, and what vacay make-up looks the season has in store.

Beachwear, casual or glamorous? What's your go-to look when you're on vacation?
My usual look is casual. I love wearing light, easy dresses that will take you from day to night, such as the La Perla Autografo dress, accompanied by sandals. I can wear this look all summer long.

What are your three best fashion tips for holidays?
Always bring sunscreen for protection and wear sunglasses whenever necessary. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and to improve your skin, and always have comfortable shoes on hand for strolling around.

What accessories do you always take with you on vacation?
I always wear a necklace -- it's my must-have accessory. For any dinners, bracelets or earrings will complete any outfit.

What is your holiday beauty routine?
A simple routine of rose water mist and facial oils -- I love those!

What are your favorite makeup looks for day and night?
During the day I try to only wear fragrance, but I love wearing makeup at night and turning myself into a "glamorous" lady. My normal routine is mascara and eye shadow, and I'm in love with lipstick -- I usually go for pink shades.

Do you have a particular holiday anecdote or a signature souvenir to share?
I collect cups from every place I go... I've become obsessed with the habit. It's like taking a little bit of culture from each place I visit.
