Rick Owens partners with Swampgod on End capsule

Avant-garde American designer Rick Owens and Swampgod have come together to launch an eco-minded collection for both men and women through sneaker and streetwear retailer, End. 

Dubbed the 'Rick Owens Swampgod by End' collection, the collaboration is said to be focused on the designers “shared love of envelope-pushing design with an emphasis on responsibility and waste prevention," according to a press release.

In particular, for the collection, the designers altered past deadstock by reconfiguring and deconstructing Owens’ hyper-experimental creations to create something new and bold. 
The creation uses the same scotch tape spirit Owens used to start his collections 20 years ago. 

Designs consist of classic styles reinvented and transformed into something that’s tied to the familiar, all while being pushed in an entirely new direction to channel Owens’ rebellious sensibility. 

Swampgod, also known as Arturo Boem, is a designer who has become immersed in the world of Rick Owens, becoming his protégé following an encounter between the two on Instagram. 

The collection is now exclusively available via the retailer, End.
