Quiksilver names its Financial Director

Quiksilver has tapped a director from Oakley to take over the reins as Financial Director. Richard Shields, the group’s new global head of finance, had been at the eyewear and outdoor specialist since 2005.

Having started his career at PriceWaterhouseCooper, Richard Shields has successively held positions of responsibility at Taco Bell Corporation, Frame-N-Lens Optical, AST Research, Winfire Corporation, Day Software Corporation and Southwest Water Company.

At Quiksilver he will be taking over the position left vacant by Joe Scirocco, who left in November last year after having been appointed in April 2007.
