Puma x Liberty capsule collection debuts, focuses on sports-meets-floral

Published

Sports giant Puma and upscale UK department store Liberty have joined up for a second collaboration for SS22. The two have just launched a streetwear collection “defined by female empowerment”.

Puma x Liberty

They said it blurs the lines between casual sportswear and fashion, and “is all about creating bold and exciting pieces for women who want to embody independence through their style”.

It “reworks the camouflage print, usually used to hide and conceal, to create a line of striking statement pieces”.

This being Liberty with its strong floral print heritage, there are two unique camo-inspired floral prints used for long raincoats, pleated skirts, wide-leg trousers, tracksuit bottoms, T-shirts, and crewnecks, as well as accessories such as sports bags and bucket hats.

It’s certainly an interesting look with florals still not the most used print category for sportswear.

The collection also comes with a range of classic Puma sneakers in classic Liberty florals, including the Mayze and Suede Mayu Slipon.

The pieces have dropped at Liberty’s historic flagship store in London, as well as in Puma stores, via the Puma webstore and with selected external retailers. Prices range from £55 to £240.
