Kendo, the LVMH group's subsidiary that notably develops brands like Fenty Beauty, Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty, has recently appointed Kristin Walcott as president. Walcott has been with Kendo for six years, most recently as senior vice-president and global general manager.

Walcott will continue to work under the aegis of David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo, whose international headquarters are based in San Francisco. Walcott is one of Kendo’s founders and began her business career in New York with the l’Oréal group. From 2006 to 2013, she worked at Sephora, the LVMH group’s selective perfumery chain and one of the main distributors of the brands developed by Kendo.

In the wake of Walcott's appointment, Kendo promoted Heather Fisher as senior vice-president global marketing. Fisher was previously in charge of marketing worldwide for Fenty Beauty, the make-up brand launched in 2017 in partnership with pop singer Rihanna, which in its first year in business generated sales for $500 million (€450 million).

Kendo’s third new appointment is that of Elizabeth Hayes, who will join the firm in February as senior vice-president product strategy, a newly created post. Hayes has worked for 12 years at Sephora, where she was in charge of developing the make-up collections.
