Global beauty giant L'Oréal has entrusted its luxury perfume brands to Sandrine Groslier. The eight-brand division, which includes Maison Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, Azzaro, Diesel and Cacharel, as well as Atelier de Cologne, is a new international department within the L'Oréal Luxury division.

Prior to being named L'Oréal's global president of luxury fragrances, Sandrine Groslier had been the global president of Mugler and Azzaro since April 2020, two brands acquired by L'Oréal in March 2020.

"The purpose of this new entity is to enrich the group's perfumery expertise and to develop L'Oréal's single-axis perfumery brands in a context where the Perfume Category has exploded globally," explains Sandrine Groslier via her LinkedIn account.

Sandrine Groslier joined L'Oréal when Azzaro and Mugler were acquired from the Clarins group. She had previously worked at the Clarins Group for more than thirteen years, where from July 2013 to March 2020 she was president of Clarins Fragrance and Fashion Group, an entity with revenues of €340 million in 2018.

In her LinkedIn post, Sandrine Groslier thanked Guillaume de Lesquen, the international president of designer fragrances brands, and Stéphane Chambran, CEO of Atelier Cologne, for their "legacy and passion."

L'Oréal has not yet responded to our inquiries about this new organization.
