Kat Von D teases 10th Anniversary Collection

Kat Von D is planning to celebrate her 10th anniversary as a beauty mogul in style.

The tattooist, activist and makeup entrepreneur has taken to Instagram to offer fans a preview of her upcoming Kat Von D Beauty 10th Anniversary Collection, which is set to launch on May 5, in honor of the star's birth country of Mexico.

Packaged in a gilded train case, the 100% vegan collection features a 16-piece eyeshadow palette containing all-new shades running the gamut from peach to turquoise, each named after a muse or behind the scenes staffer at the company. The series will also include a golden tattoo liner, two new lipstick shades in "Everlasting Liquid" and "Studded Kiss" formulas, a special highlighter compact and a golden brush set. The makeup artist has also hand-signed a series of the train cases for 400 lucky fans. 

Since being founded in 2008, Kat Von D Beauty has grown to become one of the leading labels to champion vegan, cruelty-free color cosmetics, incorporating fragrances, cosmetics and makeup tools. The creative is also set to make a move on the fashion world this year, with the planned launch of a 28-piece vegan collection of "Von D Shoes."
