Jungho Geortay takes over menswear design at Paul & Joe

Published

Jungho Geortay will take over the menswear design at label Paul & Joe from autumn-winter 2014-15. The Belgian-Korean designer takes the lead from Sophie Albou who presented her last collection for the line for spring-summer 2014.

Should we expect the designer to bring his love of prints to the brand? “Paul & Joe has a very seventies hippy aesthetic that has to be respected,” said the La Cambre and IFM graduate, who has also spent time in the design studios of Lanvin, Kenzo and Gaulthier.

Geortay, also responsible for design at Armor Lux Heritage, will continue to work on his own line, Saint Paul, despite difficult trading conditions in the Japan, an important market for the brand.
