François Latterade appointed brand lead of Quiksilver Europe

Published
Jan 8, 2019

Quiksilver's new head of Europe is a real homegrown talent. Having cut his teeth in the boardsport brand's product division in the early 2000s, François Latterade has just been named brand lead for the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) zone.

Quiksilver's new head of EMEA is brand veteran François Latterade - Quiksilver

The executive, who has led the Boardriders-owned brand's outerwear division for the last seven years, will now be in charge of product, sales and marketing in the EMEA zone, as he steps into his newly created position, while also continuing to keep tabs on outerwear.

He will report to Thomas Chambolle, president of Boardriders EMEA, and Garry Wall, Quiksilver's global brand director. Latterade's counterpart at the head of the group's women's boardsport brand Roxy is due to be named shortly.

While Quiksilver is Boardriders' flagship brand, the group also acquired historic rival Billabong (owner of Billabong, Rvca and Element) last year. The company's integration into the Boardriders structure is ongoing.
