Published
Jan 11, 2012

It’s back home for Melody Harris Jensbach. After four years on the Executive Board of Puma, the manager returns to Esprit, where she had been employed from 1998 to 2007. She joins the Management Board to manage design, sourcing and licensing in her role as Chief Product & Design Officer.

Melody Harris Jensbach is familiar both with Esprit and with Germany. After having graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York and worked several years in the United States, she moved to Germany in 1986, where she worked for various groups, including Escada, before joining Esprit in 1998. At Esprit she was Director of the Global Womens Casual division. At Puma, she directed, among other things, the product development and supply branches.

At Esprit, she will report directly to Ronald van der Vis, the CEO. She joins a management board which curently includes Tanya Todd (Sourcing and Logistics), Colin Henry (Chief Product Officer), Gert van den Weerdhof (retail manager), Christophe Bezu (wholesale manager), Ernst Peter Vogel (Global Finance & IT), Julia Merkel (human resources), Jan Nord (Brand Director), Jörgen Andersson (Brand Creative Director), Arnd Mueller (Marketing) and Chew Fook Aun (CFO).
