Coach is taking to the High Line this New York Fashion Week

Coach is heading to the High Line for its upcoming New York Fashion Week show.

The US heritage label will present its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at the Spur and Coach Passage in the High Line park on September 10, WWD reports.

"I'm excited to present our spring collection on the High Line, a place that inspires me," the brand's Creative Director Stuart Vevers told the publication. He added, "To me, it's a powerful symbol of New York's ever-evolving history, and I'm proud to celebrate what makes it special and continue our long-standing support of the park."

The passage's name is a nod to the support that Tapestry Inc.-owned Coach has offered the non-profit organization Friends of the High Line over the past decade. According to WWD, the brand has donated more than $7 million to the group, which is responsible for running the park alongside the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, since 2010.

The show is the latest big move from Coach, which hit the headlines recently for its star-studded Fall 2019 campaign, featuring Michael B. Jordan and Yara Shahidi. The brand also launched a podcast series earlier this year featuring an episode starring the actress and singer Selena Gomez, and released a luxury accessories collection in collaboration with the British designer Tabitha Simmons earlier this month.
