In his new role, Waldberg will oversee marketing, public relations, communications, social and corporate social responsibility. In addition, he will take on some responsibilities previously managed by the fashion house's former executive vice president of influence marketing and communications Rod Manley, who resigned from his position to become the chief marketing officer of Burberry as of January 7, and some tasks  Michael DeLellis, executive vice president of integrated global marketing. DeLellis will now serve as the company's executive vice president of strategic marketing initiatives and transformation, according to WWD.

Both Waldberg and DeLellis will report to Marie Gulin-Merle, Calvin Klein's chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining the classic American fashion house, Waldberg served in several executive roles at L'Oréal, including vice president of integrated consumer communications of Maybelline, vice president of brand communications, and vice president of global communications for Maybelline, in addition to serving as corporate director of public relations events, philanthropy and partnerships for Lancome. Most recently, Waldberg worked for over a year as the senior director of global communications at Bulgari.
