Bimba y Lola nears 100 million euros in turnover

Bimba y Lola has had another year of double-digit growth. The high-end Spanish womenswear brand has just released results for its latest fiscal year ending on February 28. The brand saw solid growth with a 13.7% increase in sales at 98.5 million euros.

Following a 11.5% increase during its previous fiscal year, Bimba y Lola is continuing along on the right path, having announced pre-audit, pre-tax results of 10.6 million euros.

25% of its sales came from exports - a number that is likely to further increase in 2015, as the company will continue to invest in its international business this year. It has just opened two locations in South Korea, initiating an ambitious five-year plan.

The UK is also at the top of its priorities, with three new stores to open by summer. The French market will in turn be "consolidated", probably with new complementary locations, while an opening in Belgium is planned for the second half. As of the end of the latest fiscal year, the Spanish brand had 192 locations, including both retail and wholesale, in 19 countries.
