The Swedish urbanwear chain Weekday will be opening the doors to its first British store at 226 Regent Street in London on August 18.

The first British location for the H&M-owned store is set to open its doors on the 18 August - weekday

All Weekday stores boast a contemporary urban atmosphere with a minimalist and forward-looking aesthetic. Each store is designed differently so that none are identical, and each strikes a balance between minimalism, modernity and wellbeing.

The London store will be spread across 650 square metres and two floors, offering the possibility for various collections to inspire. Weekday has also developed a unique store concept for the location, as natural materials meet contemporary surfaces in a bright and spacious environment.

The store design will combine the key elements of the historic building with the edgy aesthetic of the label. The opening is the beginning of Weekday's British expansion, with another store planned for autumn/ winter 2017.

The chain is currently present in 18 countries, including Poland, Spain, England and France, with 30 stores across Europe.
