Selfridges adds beauty and wellness concept to Body Studio

Published
Jul 6, 2018

Selfridges has added a new beauty concept, a wall on the third floor of its Oxford Street flagship dedicated to wellness, bodycare and other beauty products.

Kiki Health

Based around the concept of “Eat. Sleep. Shower. Repeat.”, the company said it “offers an essential edit of the very best in fitness-minded products.” It takes the original fitness-to-fashion concept of the Selfridges Body Studio and expands it into more areas of consumers’ lifestyles with a one-stop-shop approach for fitness and wellness-focused customers who also want to look good.

Eat is all about “elevating your beauty regime from the inside out thanks to Selfridges selection of supplements, all designed to nourish your skin, nails, hair and body.” Promising a “supplement for every beauty woe,” it’s offering products like nutrient-rich soil based organisms from Kiki Health (from £7), which “help to repopulate the gut,” as well as Phyto’s products “which actively restore density and fullness to the hair.”

Sleep, meanwhile, focuses on the importance of sleep for repairing the skin. The beauty wall has “sleep essentials” from Slip’s silky pillow cases (from £79) to Bed Of Nails therapeutic Acupressure mats (from £30) and Therapie Roques Oneil Slumber Pillow Spray (£29).

The Shower part of the concept includes bodycare products such as bath soaks through to “luxe turban towels.” Hero products include the Mio line (from £26), Vita Clean’s Vitamin C (£70) scented shower head filters and Aquis (£30) quick-drying towels.

Repeat stands for actions consumers should take regularly to help their skin and includes “the best facial rollers out there right now” from Skin Gym to Bioscience’s GloPro (£249) “to tighten and de-puff skin in seconds.” There are also face masks for acne, hydration or energising the skin from The Oozoo, Erborian and Dr Jart.
