Rains and Net-A-Porter unveil exclusive collaboration

Rains and Net-A-Porter have worked together on an exclusive AW18 capsule collection that features both classic and new silhouettes for the Danish rainwear brand.

The collection consists of six pieces, developed in exclusive fabrics and several colour-ways. There is a long jacket in glossy white and glossy rose, long overcoat in glossy faded blue and glossy black, boxy jacket in transparent and transparent black and mackintosh coat in transparent.

This is the first time that Rains has collaborated with the luxury e-tailer, and marks a new step in the brand’s growth since its inception in 2012. Influenced by Scandinavian design and with a focus on apparel, bags and accessories that can withstand the stormiest of weather, Rains has been opening concept stores in carefully considered cities since 2016.

“Rains is moving towards getting closer to the fashion consumer who never compromises when it comes to personal style in the case of a downpour. With this new collaboration, we are solidifying the first steps of becoming a consistently relevant brand to the fashion consumer,” said Philip Lotko, business developer about the exclusive Net-A-Porter collection.

The range was released on Wednesday and will be sold in a limited quantity.
