The Berlin fashion tradeshow has just closed its doors on another successful January season. The German capital witnessed a dynamic week fashion this month, but for on city's major industry players, a change is about to take place.

The tradeshow Seek, which took place January 16 to 18Seek - Seek

The Premium Exhibitions Group is being sold. Clarion Events will effectively by the new owner of the company, which organises events such as Premium, Show & Order, Bright, Seek and FashionTech. The British group will, according to the German magazine TextilWirtschaft, purchase majority stakes from Waterland Private Equity (an owner since 2005) and Florian Bachelin, co-founder of Premium, which was launched in 2003. Anita Tillmann, co-founder and a top figure in the sector, will remain as the operations head of the tradeshow.

The Premium group has increased in the last few years and has turned Seek into its own tradeshow, before acquiring streetwear tradeshow Bright in 2015 and Show & Order in 2016, which is centred more on accessories.

Clarion, based in London, is present across the the globe and is an events specialist, with tradeshows and conferences held worldwide. It is active across a diverse range of industries including energy, gaming, retail, sports competitions and scientific conferences. In July, the group was bought by investment firm Blackstone for 600 million pounds.
