Pharrell, Messi, Beckham and Karlie Kloss talk creativity for Adidas campaign

What would a meeting between some of the world's most famous athletes, fashion designers, supermodels and musicians look like? Adidas has attempted to offer up the answer with its new global campaign.

The sportswear giant has rounded up its roster of famous faces for a new chapter in its ‘Here to Create' campaign. Dubbed ‘Calling All Creators,' it comprises a short film in which the illustrious group discusses the topic of creativity.

Seated around the table are football legends Lionel Messi, David Beckham and Paul Pogba, as well as supermodel Karlie Kloss, who has acted as the face of multiple Adidas collections during her career. Fashion designer Alexander Wang, whose Adidas Originals collaboration has been a bit hit for the brand, and musician and designer Pharrell Williams are also present. Rapper Pusha T, tennis champion Garbine Muguruza, NBA star James Harden and basketball idol Candace Parker are also in the star-studded lineup, alongside several other faces from the cream of the sporting world.

"We believe in the power of writing your own rules, but it will take those who think differently and are confident enough to make it happen," said Ryan Morlan, Adidas's VP of Global Brand Communication, in a statement. "It will take Creators," he added. "Adidas is shaping the future of sport every day through our products, partnerships, and innovations, and with this campaign, we've called on some of the most admired faces in sport culture to help us inspire others to find their Creator within, no matter what their field of play."

The campaign focuses on some of the brand's latest footwear innovations, including its cushioning ‘Boost' technology and shoes fabricated using recycled materials from Parley Ocean Plastic. The camera also offers a glimpse of the ‘Futurecraft 4D' concept, which features midsoles crafted with light and oxygen using Digital Light Synthesis, a technology pioneered by Carbon.
