Obey to open shop-in-shop at Funkie House Rotterdam

On Friday 31 August, Rotterdam-based street fashion retailer Funkie House will unveil a shop-in-shop of the American streetwear brand Obey. The store will be the first Obey shop-in-shop in the Netherlands and the second for the brand, which also operates a shop-in-shop in Paris.

Funkie House is already a point of sale for the California-based label, but by offering the shop-in-shop the retailer now has a greater collection available in-store that includes t-shirts, sweat shirts, caps, beanies and bags. Obey will have its own floor at the 750-square-metre, three-story shop.

In addition to Funkie House, Obey is available in the Netherlands at the Obey EU web shop; Zalando; Revert  95; Fresh Cotton; The Revenge; and  X 21, to name a few (online) retailers.

Funkie House was founded in 1989 and is situated at Korte Hoogstraat in the city center of Rotterdam. In 2017, the retailer rebranded and now offers 70 international brands, including Carhartt WIP, Libertine Libertine, Patagonia, Edwin, Veja, Native Youth, Brixton and Wood Wood.

Funkie House also operated a brick-and-mortar store in The Hague and is available via its own e-store.

The retailer stocks collections for men and women.
