French fashion empire Louis Vuitton is set to debut its travelling "Time Capsule" exhibition in Canada, with the show to open in Toronto next month, in celebration of the luxury brand's 35th anniversary in the city.

"Time Capsule", which traces the brand's story, from its early beginnings in 1854 to the present day, will open at Toronto's Union Station on  September 7, and run through September 30.

The journey, highlighted with rare and celebrated objects selected from the Louis Vuitton archives -- such as a trunk with the classic monogram, circa 1906 -- follows a visual timeline, focusing on five key aspects: "Codes of the House", "Journeys around the World", "Elegance and Beauty in Motion", "Louis Vuitton and the Arts" and "Magic Malle".

Each section offers viewers unprecedented access to some of the most valuable pieces from Louis Vuitton's archives and an insight into the heritage brand's impressive luxury legacy, which has spanned over 160 years.

The "Time Capsule" exhibition initially kicked off in Hong Kong in April 2017, and has since travelled to Bangkok, Berlin, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai. In 2018 so far, the show has made stops in Melbourne, Madrid, Los Angeles and Osaka.
