LVMH launches online program for students

Following a smaller project launched in 2016, in the form of a group discovery day for students, the 'Inside LVMH' program is taking on a new dimension. The top luxury group is officially launching this February a new online educational system, in partnership with over 45 European universities.

LVMH

The LVMH group is currently accepting applications from these prestigious institutions, which nearly half are French, including IFM, ESSEC, Sciences Po and Paris Dauphine, to learn about the luxury industry through a series of more than 50 videos. The program is of course open to students and interns working within the Group.

LVMH said that nearly 3,500 people have already been registered to follow the videos created by the group and teachers from the selected schools, which aim to provide a deeper understanding of the strategic challenges in luxury. After offering a physical discovery of the fashion houses to a selection of students, the program now aims to provide a 360-degree overview of the sector to a maximum number of young talents.

At the end of the four-month program, which will also be used to seduce potential future employees, the LVMH group will judge team projects based on the theme 'Imagine the Luxury Experience of Tomorrow'.

No less than 200 students will be interviewed by a grand jury next May, and will be offered an opportunity to join one of the group’s fashion houses.
