Italy's Imprima acquires textile printing specialist B-Blossom

Imprima announced it has acquired Italian textile printing specialist B-Blossom. The founders of the Como-based firm, Maria Moreira and Massimiliano Conti, will retain their role as directors and will become stakeholders of Imprima.

"The reason for our interest in B-Blossom rests on its market position and its niche prints, which have allowed the business to grow quickly and affirm itself as a recognised provider of products to both high-end and fast-fashion collections," said Imprima in a statement.

Imprima has recently purchased other European textile printing firms, including Germany's KBC and Italy's Guarisco. The Milanese group plans to support its growth in the coming years via the investment of around 30 million euros, destined for both technological development and the acquisition of domestic and foreign firms.
