Ermenegildo Zegna announces partnership with Mr Porter

Ermenegildo Zegna has chosen Mr Porter as the online distributor of its ready-to-wear lines, outside of Zegna's own e-commerce site.

The Italian menswear line and the men's fashion e-store owned by the Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP) group, have announced in a press release "the launch of a new retail partnership, in which Mr Porter will be the key worldwide e-commerce partner for Zegna, starting from July 26th."

The Italian fashion label will feature on Mr Porter a selection of its haute couture and ready-to-wear clothes, including sleeved leather and cashmere tops, and also selected footwear and leather accessories.

While Mr Porter is delighted to "add Ermenegildo Zegna to its list of luxury brands next autumn," the Italian label's CEO Ermenegildo Zegna defined the alliance as "strategic", since Mr Porter is "the perfect display window to showcase Ermenegildo Zegna's luxury collections."

The agreement was reached while the partnership between Yoox and Zegna for the management of the label's e-store will end in the second half of 2016.
