Italian brands Duvetica and Hydrogen are expanding their ongoing collaboration with two new outerwear styles for fall 2017.
The new styles include a limited edition waterproof nylon vest ($240) and jacket ($288) that feature a black tone-on-tone camouflage print and a reflective silver finish, respectively. In addition, both styles are made for both men and women.
Duvetica and Hydrogen first partnered in 2015 to launch a limited edition waterproof nylon down coat inspired by Duvetica’s signature silhouette and Hydrogen’s unconventional style. The piece that launched for Hydrogen’s fall 2016 collection featured a tone-on-tone black glossy and opaque effect and French goose padding.
Founded by Alberto Bresci in 2013, Hydrogen offers luxury sportswear for men, women and children and produces tennis and eyewear collections. An old denim shirt that belonged to Lawyer Gianni Agnelli served as inspiration for Bresci to launch the brand, and became a signature piece for the brand.
Hydrogen has partnered with several brands in the past in addition to Duvetica, including K-Way, Superga, and JPlus Eyewear, as well as Lamborghini and Fiat.
Giampiero Vagliano and Stefano Rovoletto, who both worked at Moncler, founded Duvetica, Hydrogen’s ongoing partner. The Italian brand that gets its name from the French word ‘duvet’ and the word ‘etica’ provides ethically produced down outerwear. Duvetica also operates stores in Italy, Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
