Dutch shoe label Mascolori to open second store

Shoes and accessories label Mascolori is adding a second store to its current portfolio. The 100 m2 store, which will officially open its doors on 18 November, will be located at Amsterdam’s Haarlemmerstraat.

“We chose Amsterdam for our second store, because we believe this is a city where our target audience can be found: creative people, artists - in short, colorful people,” commented the brand.

Mascolori is known for its vibrant designs for men and women. The men’s collection consists of dress shoes in the EU sizes 39-48, with prices sitting between €150 and €349. In addition to shoes, the men’s collection also offers socks, belts and laces. For women, Mascolori offers boots, heeled-shoes and pumps, which are priced between €179 and €229.

In addition to its regular collections, the label often launches limited edition designs, such as the Markthal shoe 2.0. The shoe featured Horn of Plenty, an artwork by Dutch artists Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam, which serves as the ceiling of the famous Rotterdam food hall that premiered in 2014. The special edition shoe for men stocks at €249.

In 2015 Mascolori was awarded with the Ketelbinkieprijs: an award for Rotterdam-based entrepreneurs whose businesses have a positive affect on the national or international position of the city of Rotterdam.

Mascolori launched in 2011 and was founded by Jochem Grund and Raymond Landegent as an online shop. In 2015 the brand opened its first physical store in Rotterdam. All products are produced in Portugal.
