Bubble kidswear show to be relaunched at Pure London

Published
Sep 26, 2018

Following consolidation in the UK tradeshow sector, the new owner of the already-successful Pure London exhibition is continuing to build up the event and said this week that children’s fashion trade show Bubble is relaunching at Pure London for the February 2019 edition.

Pure London's owner is to relaunch Bubble as part of the event

Bubble London had announced it was closing its doors earlier this year with the scheduled July event not taking place. The move came after the show had seen a decline in visitor numbers.

Organiser ITE blamed changes in the childrenswear industry but it was clear that something would fill the gap it left. As a response, for instance, Autumn Fair, which happened this month at the NEC in Birmingham, added kidswear to its children’s gifts, toys & gadgets showcase. But the latest news about Pure is particularly important as it offers a platform for the kid’s category in the key London market.

Gloria Sandrucci, Head of Sales at Pure London said: “News of Bubble’s closure caused huge disappointment in the industry. Following Pure London’s sale to ITE Group, our introduction of Pure Kid last season, and lengthy research amongst retailers and brands, it became apparent how much the industry wants and needs a platform for kids.

“Pure London now offers its visitors womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and sourcing show Origin all under one roof, creating London’s largest festival of fashion.”

The next event takes place at London Olympia from February 10-12.
