Blaiz to open permanent store on King's Road

Published
Jan 9, 2018

South American fashion e-tailer Blaiz is opening a permanent boutique on the King’s Road in London, its first permanent physical store with the company having previously opted for temporary pop-ups.

Blaiz

Blaiz offers an exclusive platform for Latin American fashion, swimwear, accessories and jewellery. Its 2,485 sq ft space at 227 King’s Road, in the heart of one of London’s key shopping locations, actually opened last month for a pre-Christmas push, but has now closed again for a full refurbishment and the new store will open in February.

The company had previously operated a pop-up of the same size further along the King’s Road and clearly had a strong enough response to make the move to a permanent home there. Founder Stephanie Margaronis Mordehachvili said “the international feel of our brand is a perfect match for the diverse nationalities that the King’s Road attracts.”

The company will be trading heavily on its South American roots with plans for “South American-inspired experiences in-store,” details of which will be unveiled later.

Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley Estate said: “Blaiz is a very exciting permanent addition to our tenant mix as we consistently look for exciting designers and entrepreneurs that will add to our distinct and vibrant offer. As a reputable brand that has caught the eye of the fashion world, Blaiz appeals to the King’s Road shoppers who flock here for a premium fashion experience.”

The King’s Road is currently going through a strong development phase with a number of recent developments including an impressive new Boden flagship, a multi-brand pop-up for Five Boys Clothing, a new location for & Other Stories, and Designers Guild upsizing its showroom there.
